The extravagant audio launch event for Aishwarya Rajinikanth's directorial venture, Lal Salaam, unfolded at Sri Sairam Engineering College, Chennai. Lead actor Vishnu Vishal was also present at the event. Addressing the gathering, she opened up about the personal attacks her father, Rajnikanth, has faced recently. Expressing her sentiments, Aishwarya Rajinikanth shared her reaction to the personal attacks on her father, stating, "I used to get angry seeing them. We're human beings too. In recent times, many people call my father a Sanghi. I didn't know what it meant. I then asked someone what was the meaning of Sanghi and they said that people who support a particular political party are called Sanghi." She clarified that her father, Rajinikanth, is not a Sanghi, and if he were, he wouldn't have been part of a film like Lal Salaam. In the upcoming film Lal Salaam, Rajinikanth takes on a cameo role as Moideen Bhai. The lead roles are portrayed by Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth, supported by a talented cast including Vignesh, Livingston, Senthil, Jeevitha, K. S. Ravikumar, and Thambi Ramaiah. Scheduled for a theatrical release on February 9, 2024, the movie is highly anticipated by fans and cinephiles alike. The veteran actor recently attended Ayodhya's Ram Mandir inauguration event on January 22 where he was seen alongside legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar.
